Yankees lose one, gain one in Rule 5 draft

The Yankees throught for sure they would Steven Jackson or Brett Smith in the Rule 5 Draft. It came as a surprise that RHP Mike Gardner was taken by San Diego.
洋基原本以為一定會在Rule 5 Draft裡面損失Steven Jackson或是Brett Smith，沒想到另人驚訝的是，教士隊挑走的是右投的Mike Gardner。

Gardner was a long reliever for Class AA Trenton last season. If he doesn’t stick with the Padres, they would have to give him back to the Yanks.
Gardner上個球季在2A Trenton擔任的是長中繼的角色。如果最後他沒有繼續待在教士隊，那麼教士隊將會再把他送回洋基。

The Yankees selected RHP Bo Hall in the minor-league phase of the draft. He was 5-2 with a 3.46 as a Class AA reliever last season.
而洋基則是挑了右投的Bo Hall。他去年以中繼投手的身分出賽，在2A的戰績是5勝2敗，防禦率3.46。
